About this Product
A retail bank's onboarding and servicing teams handle a growing stream of applications and requests such as address changes, card blocks, statement requests and balance queries. Each one needs identity checks, sanctions screening and a clear customer reply, and a single mistake can cause a compliance breach or an unsafe answer. In this lab you build a production style AI concierge API that processes these requests with three cooperating model roles: a Router that classifies intent and risk, an Extractor that reads identity documents into structured fields, and a Responder that drafts the customer reply. Models call banking tools such as KYC lookup, sanctions screening and account updates only through a permission checked policy layer, with input, action and output guardrails and PII masking around every step. You practise multi model orchestration, tool integration, guardrails, evaluation and observability. The service degrades gracefully through timeouts, retries, a circuit breaker and a fallback model, and routes uncertain cases to a human review queue instead of answering unsafely. An evaluation harness with a golden set and release gate proves quality before release, while structured logs, Prometheus metrics and an audit trail make every decision traceable. By the end you have a tested, documented AI service with a repeatable release gate that you can explain in an interview and publish in your portfolio.
